Notice of Election

For the Members’ Council 2012 of the

Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

The Trust gives notice that it will hold elections to the Members’ council of the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Elections are to be held for the following positions:

6 Public Governors in the following constituencies:

• South Birmingham (2 vacancies)
• Rest of West Midlands (1 vacancy)
• Northern and Eastern Birmingham (2 vacancies)
• Heart of Birmingham (1 vacancy)

2 Staff Governors in the following constituency

• Clinical (2 vacancies)

A Nomination form to stand for election to these positions can be obtained from the Returning Officer at the address shown below.

All Nomination papers should be received by the Returning Officer, John Box, at the address as detailed below, by noon on Tuesday 12th June 2012.

Faxed or emailed nominations will not be accepted.

Should any nominee wish to withdraw their nomination, they must put this in writing to the returning officer by 5pm on Friday 15th June 2012.

Ballot papers will be distributed to qualifying Members on Monday 2nd July 2012. Completed ballot papers must be received by the Independent Scrutineer by noon on Friday 20th July 2012.
