Welcome to the Cadbury Medical Library.
The library is situated in the Research and Teaching Centre. The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital library is part of a consortium of West Midlands NHS libraries, known collectively as Base-library. Membership is open to all Trust staff, students on placement for the duration of their placement, those on the Birmingham Orthopaedic Training Programme and Trust Council Members and Volunteers.
The following services are offered:-
- Book loans and reservations.
- Interlibrary loans (request a journal article)
- Literature searching (request a search)
- Training (in use of the library, electronic resources, and medical databases)
- Computer Access
- Photocopier
- ATHENS password administration
- Access to a range of medical databases

If you would like to join the library download and complete the User Registration Form and bring it in person to the library along with your Trust ID badge, or University ID badge if you are a student on placement, Trust Council Members and Volunteers will need to provide some evidence of their status within the Trust .
