The Trust has some accommodation available for relatives on site, but this is subject to availability and the Trust cannot guarantee that a room will be available. When demand is high relatives may be issued one room per patient. It is not anticipated that relatives/carers will be offered accommodation for more than two weeks in order to allow the facility to be offered to other relatives/carers in a similar position. We may ask you to consider sharing accommodation with another person, or alternatively may place you in staff bedrooms if these are vacant.
The hospital’s residential accommodation is not suitable for babies, toddlers or children (defined as people under the age of 16). Under no circumstances will babies, toddlers or children be allowed to reside in the hospital’s residential accommodation alone, even during the daytime whilst the parent/carer is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Please contact the Facilities Office on 0121 685 4255
The hospital will not be responsible for payment of any hotel bill incurred by patients/carers due to the unavailability of hospital residential accommodation.
Under no circumstances will animals be accommodated.
Further information about accommodation off-site and surrounding area can be found under our ‘General Information – Local Facilities’ section.
