Patients with Private medical Insurance

The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Private Suite works closely with most private medical insurance providers.  We are happy to help with any enquiries which you may have regarding the use of private medical insurance, but would also encourage patients to directly contact their insurance companies for clarification and confirmation of their cover.

Fixed price packages for patients with no private medical insurance

Designed for “peace of mind”.  Many patients are concerned about the cost of private medical treatment when they are not insured.  This is our way of removing those concerns, by providing a Fixed Cost Solution. 

Prior to admission, the patient knows precisely what the cost of the operation will be. Fees are payable on admission.  This figure includes all costs from admission to discharge, including surgeon, anaesthetist, theatre, X-Ray, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, pharmacy, accommodation, daily drugs and dressings and ward care costs as appropriate to the case.

The hospital offers a wide range of fixed price packages, these include:

• Total Hip replacement packages from £9,000 (dependent upon implant used).
• Total Knee replacement packages from £10,300 (dependent upon implant used).

A written quotation for the cost of treatment will be provided upon request, together with terms and conditions of fixed price surgery.
