Annual staff award nominations now open!

The nominations for our annual Leading Lights Awards are now open.

The awards aim to highlight the amazing work of our staff and volunteers at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. At The ROH, we value staff who demonstrate our Trust values and go ‘above and beyond’ for our patients and the Leading Lights Awards are a small way for us to say thank you.

Jo Williams, Chief Executive at The ROH, said: “The Leading Lights Awards give us a chance to say a massive thank you to just a handful of our amazing staff. Without them, The ROH would be unable to provide the care we do in such a compassionate and efficient manner.

“I hope to see lots of people nominating their colleagues, care givers and volunteers for their hard work and look forward to being part of the panel who selects the winners!”

Nominations can be made by anyone – staff, patients and members of the public. There are 15 categories in this year’s awards, ranging from the Secretarial/Administrator of the Year to the Clinical Team Achievement Award. There are also accolades for support workers, apprentices, nurses and pharmacists, amongst others.

The winners will be chosen by a panel of judges ahead of a glittering ceremony on Friday 7th February. You can make your nominations until Friday 15th November.
