Biography

Sue has been a patient at the Hospital for 30 years and has received many joint replacements and much physiotherapy at the Hospital.  Sue has a clear understanding of the need for balancing budgets with improvement to services within the cost constraints imposed on all health-related services and is acutely aware of the importance of research to enable patients to benefit from advancements in treatment and care.  Sue represents the Council of Governors on the Trust’s Quality and Safety Committee.  Sue was re-elected to the Council of Governors in December 2017 for a second term of office of three years.
