How is ROH working differently

Meeting the challenges of COVID-19

We are working differently for you

We have made significant changes to how we work to ensure we offer the safest services we can.

Navigators and entry points

When you arrive, you will be greeted by a site safety coordinator. This person will explain what you need to do and where you need to go. They will ensure that restrictions are maintained and you are supported.

When you enter the hospital you will have your temperature checked, sanitise your hands and take a fresh face mask.

Hand sanitising stations

Hand washing is an essential part of reducing the risk of infection. We have made it easy to sanitise your hands with stations all over the Trust that are clearly marked.

Social distancing

Our site is marked for social distancing so it’s easy for you to maintain a one meter plus distance

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
When you visit us you will be provided with a fresh face mask to help protect you and other vulnerable patients in the hospital.
While restrictions have been lifted outside, inside the NHS mask wearing is still mandatory.

Visiting is restricted to help reduce virus transmission. There are some exceptions. Please read more about our visiting policy here.
