Good 2 Talk: employee assistance programme
This service is for employees of the Royal Orthopaedic NHS Foundation Trust.
It’s a stressful time for everyone at the moment. This is especially true for healthcare workers who are meeting the challenges of the coronavirus directly. Do you feel stressed? Anxious? Trouble sleeping? ‘Good 2 Talk’ is a new FREE programme developed by the FRP team to support employees of the ROH.
What is Good 2 Talk?
Good 2 Talk provides simple psychological support and education via phone or email. It will give you access to personal advice on practical things you can do to:
- Reduce your stress levels
- Manage your anxiety
- Improve your sleep
- Improve your diet and exercise
- Build social connection
- Understand the fact (and fiction) around coronavirus
Who is Good 2 Talk for?
Good 2 Talk is for employees of the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.
How does it work?
You will complete a CONFIDENTIAL email (see below 'How do I access the service'). It asks questions about who you are, how you are feeling and how you would like to be contacted. After you have sent it to us, a member of the Good 2 Talk team will be in touch with you within 48 hours, using the contact method you prefer.
Queries related to employment
Good 2 Talk is a psychological support service only. If you have queries related to employment (e.g. finance, fitness to work, self isolation, etc) these must be directed through the HR team
How do I access the service?
When emailing please state:
- Your name
- Contact Details
- What you would like help with
- The best way to contact you (Phone, Email)
- The best time of day to contact you
- Any further comments
