There are two Teenage Cancer Trust areas at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital: the Teenage Cancer Trust Unit for 13-18 year olds and the Teenage Cancer Trust Young Adult Area for 19 -24 year olds. If you are 16+ when coming here as a new patient you will be treated on Ward 3.
You can find out more about these on the Teenage Cancer Trust website at https://www.teenagecancertrust.org/get-help/how-we-can-help/our-units/royal-orthopaedic-hospital
Ward 11 is a children's ward. Find out more here.
Around seven young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK. They need expert treatment and support from the moment they hear the word ‘cancer.’ The Teenage Cancer Trust are the only charity dedicated to making this happen.
Our staff make sure the best possible care is given so that patients are treated as young people first, cancer patients second.
