The ROH is proud to be a member of the National Orthopaedic Alliance (NOA), an organisation that brings together orthopaedic providers to share best practice and address shared challenges in orthopaedics. You can find out more about the NOA here.

Our multi-disciplinary research team combine medical, nursing, physiotherapy, pharmacy, laboratory, administration and management staff who are employed specifically to carry out research and have no other routine service commitments; research is what we do.

Our licensed and ethically approved Research Tissue Bank which is set up to collect, store and provide human tissue for research projects.

A new, purpose-built Regenerative Medicine Research Laboratory for pre-clinical development of future cell-based clinical innovations.

Specialist orthopaedic pathology services with capabilities ranging from simple sample processing and storage to histopathological diagnostic processes including FSH XX and XX.

Dedicated research clinic and access to the physiotherapy gym to undertake all outpatient or day-case patient activities in accordance with protocol requirements.

Trust-wide electronic patient screening toolsto aid the identification of suitable participants
